Admission

The admissions process is processed completely online. This is how it shows:

We will apply on your behalf at IU Germany and obtain an offer letter to join the course once you have provided us with all relevant documentation.

Yes. You will be required to provide these documents to Acelot before start date, a self-attested copy of your undergraduate transcript/degree clearly mentioning your GPA/Grades, Curriculum vitae, Proof of English proficiency.

Course

You can enroll for any number of courses that is free on the platform.

Some times courses come with a duration to complete the entire course. This is as per course design. In that case the course has to be completed within the prescribed time. 

It varies from course to course and trainer to trainer.

Certificate is available in three formats : i) Free with a free course ii) Certificate is to be paid for – course is free iii) Course is free while the course is paid This is explained at the time enrolling/buying the course. Once course is completed Certificate will be available to you either to download for your records or uploaded on to your social media handle(LinkedIn). We keep your certificate for your in your account with Acelot Academy.

Germany

They are looking for skilled immigrants to take up jobs in Germany.

The moment you complete your studies, your student visa also expires however students can get 18 months of work visa after obtaining your German university degree.

German educational standards at schools and at higher education institutions are relatively high. In fact, precisely because the German school system is so well structured and rigorous, it produces some of the most accomplished students in the world.
Germany has one of the best standards of living in the world. Cities like Munich, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf rank in the top 10 cities with the best quality of life in 2019. To prove you have sufficient financial resources to support yourself in Germany, you must deposit 10332 Euro in a blocked German bank account before you apply for Visa. This amount can be withdrawn once you reach Germany to support your monthly expenses. However, your actual expenses may vary depending on your lifestyle in Germany.

IU Germany

IU International University of Applied Sciences achieved 99 out of 100 points in our QS Stars Report and it is the first German University to receive such ranking. Apart from this there are many other advantages of choosing IU Germany such as compact class size; flexible program; hybrid mode of teaching; excellent placements; campus diversity; scope of building international network and so on.

The IU curriculum works in a simplistic way. There are certain credits that need to be completed in every semester through assignments, tests, projects, etc. after the end of every semester the university will look at your performance and provide you with the certificate of semester completion and your next semester will start. In case of hybrid course, the first online semester will function in the same way and after getting the certificate you can apply for the on-campus semester.

Normal assessments for an online component will be quizzes and proctored exams. Students are expected to give quizzes after every chapter they have studied from course books and live lectures. Students can have unlimited attempts for quizzes. On completion of all the unit quizzes, students will have to attempt a proctored exam which can be scheduled as early as 2 hours from the time of booking. These proctored exams are a mix of multiple-choice questions, short answers, and long answers. To successfully get credit for a course, students will have to score overall 50% marks in a proctored exam. Students will get 2 more attempts for a proctored exam if they do not complete it successfully in the first attempt.
 
*Which is described in the study and examination regulations of the study course. They cannot be offset by achievements in other subjects. The total credit points of the study course are determined by the curriculum overview.
*A credit point corresponds to a credit point in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and is associated with a workload of 30 hours.

About 12-15 hours per week of time commitment is expected to be able to graduate from the online program. The on-campus program in Germany is full time and may have a heavier workload.

The first step involves enrolling in your desired study programme. Within a few days, you’ll receive the access data for the Online Campus and a Study Coach, who will give you some great tips on how to study. You choose the modules you want to take and can access your lecture notes online or order a printed copy, which IU will send you by post.

IU teaches the subject material using innovative, multimedia learning tools. The language of instruction for all their degrees is English. In each course, academic supervisors are available to assist you via e-mail and telephone. In addition to lecture notes or their e-book versions, IU Interactive Books®, their study material consists of learning videos, revision courses and online consultations among other tools. IU attaches great importance to practical relevance through case studies and reports from everyday professional life, as well as a comprehensive approach to exam preparation.

Via Microsoft groups, online forums, etc. you can learn together with fellow students and complete self-assessment tests. If you’re successful, your final exam will be activated, which you can take either completely online or on-site. You can choose the date and location of the monthly final module examination, which is held on Saturdays. At the end of your studies, you’ll have to write your final thesis, which IU professors will support you with.

An average salary that a student studying at IU University in Germany can withdraw could be between 45,000 to 53,000 EUR. However, this depends on your skillset and the organization you are applying for. IU Germany works with 6000 corporate partners that include Lufthansa, PepsiCo, Deloitte, Accenture, Loreal, and others.
94 percent of IU's graduates find a job within the first three months of graduating and, after two years, an average of 80 percent have management responsibilities.

IU- International University of Applied Sciences.

Yes, one needs to pay an amount of INR 25,000 towards admission fees( incl.GST) for processing the application with IU. This amount subsequently gets adjusted with the course fees once the students application is approved by IU.

If due to any reason, which happens seldom, application gets rejected by IU, candidate will get a refund of the entire amount in the next 7 working days into the same bank account from which advance has been paid.

Personal

No, IU Germany makes sure that studies are not affected due to online mode. All the professors are well versed in digital technology. Most of the lectures are pre-recorded to keep the interest of every student. There are regular live doubt sessions held, which helps in solving queries of students. Along with this the IU team is always there to help the students.

You can opt for an LSBU dual degree course. However, if you wish for a dual degree from another college or university then you would have to inquire the administration about it.

The university administration does provide scholarships to foreign students based on the economic condition and location. For online education students scholarships can go up to 80-83 percent based on the need of the candidate.
