The study plan of the master’s degree in Digital and Visual Communication. Animation Videogames and Cinema is highly professionalizing and aims to balance the study of theoretical subjects and practical exercises, with a vertical and horizontal approach: vertical in providing specializations in specific sectors, horizontal in maintaining a multidisciplinary perspective that trains future professionals with open-mindedness and adaptability. Because the world of video game development and that of animation are not watertight compartments, and every professional must be able to communicate and collaborate with other sectors. In recent years, the spread of personal computers, game consoles, tablets and smartphones has developed in tandem with computing power. All of this has made possible a large-scale growth of video game development in various sectors of visual communication, learning and entertainment. Advertising, cinema, television, video games, interactive installations have in turn created a strong demand in the job market. Photoshop, ZBrush, Maya, 3D Studio Max, Unity3D, Corona, Construct, Adobe Animate, Premiere, After Effects, Audition are among the most powerful and well-known software / languages / frameworks for video game pre-production, production and post-production and high-level cartoons.
