Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG), launched Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) in 2011 on an invitation from the Government of Rajasthan, as a self-financed State University. MUJ started a new chapter when the University Grants Commission (UGC) entitled the university to offer online degree programmes (MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA) and the first cohort started class in April 2021. In addition to this, the university has started offering online B Com, M Com and MA JMC from December 2021. MEMG includes Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE, Karnataka, and Dubai), Sikkim Manipal University (Sikkim), American University of Antigua (Caribbean Islands), Manipal International University (Malaysia) and Manipal University Jaipur (Jaipur). MAHE is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001: 2004 certified and has won the prestigious IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award and the International Asia Pacific Quality Award in 2007- 2008.
