Don't miss the chance to impress the

Admissions Committee!!

  • According to Harvard, your SOP is an integral part of your admission process. The admission committee evaluates the SOP with great care.
  • A general SOP, not customised to the College, is a big put-off for the Admission committee. It can lead to a rejection of your application!

In the entire admission documentation, SOP is the only part that is completely in your control. A well-written, expertly checked, and reviewed SOP greatly enhances the chance of your application getting accepted by the university.

LOR - Letter of recommendation

Letter of recommendation is given by your school, college or employer.

Primarily this highlights your quantified achievements in your area of delivery. It also captures contributions you have made beyond your are of direct contribution or influence.

Additionally it should capture qualitative aspects of you as person.

A letter of recommendation should not be more than 6 months old on the letter head with address of correspondence and contact details like email and phone numbers clearly mentioned.  It is important to remember that more often than not, colleges/universities do a back ground check on the authenticity of the LOR.
