Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is also accepted with an overall grade C or above. For Tanzania and Cameroon, we request an IELTS (or equivalent certificate).
WAEC/NECO must be enhanced by a successful (50%+) Internal English Assessment if issued more than 5 years ago.
Applicants who have an insufficient score in one component (i.e. 5.0 instead of 5.5) but overall meets the required threshold, can sit for an English diagnostic test online. Students based in Germany will also be able to sit for an internal assessment, free of charge, with a successful passing rate of 50%+.
You have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the majority English speaking countries within the last two years.
You have achieved a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university (according to ECCTIS UK), where the Method of Instruction was entirely in English (teaching and assessment).
Exceptions

Preliminary Skills and Prerequisite Courses
To ensure adequate preparation in both information technology and business, an applicant to this data analytics program must have basic business knowledge and basic information technology knowledge. The Walker School of Business & Technology accepts individuals who have successfully graduated from undergraduate computer science, information systems, mathematics, business administration, management or similar degree programs and possess the basic business, mathematics and information technology knowledge.

To be eligible for this program, students must have either:
Earned an undergraduate degree in business, management, computer science, statistics, economics, biology (BS), chemistry (BS) or physics (BS).
OR
Completed college-level algebra and statistics, in the last 5 years, with a B or better in both courses.
Have work experience that includes business, database and analytics.
A phone interview or essay may be required.
It is preferred that students have a business background and strong analytical skills.
